I was introduced to the world of fiber arts by my mother-in-law, Eileen O’Shea, shortly after leaving the
U.S. Army. At the time, my mind was loud, restless, and searching for something it couldn’t quite name. Fiber art became that quiet place—awakening a part of me that had been waiting beneath the surface for years.
What began as a small introduction quickly became something much deeper. In a relatively short time, this path has grounded me, challenged me, and allowed me to grow in ways I never expected.
I create without rules or limitations. Each piece is guided by instinct rather than structure, shaped slowly and with intention. While I consider myself a fiber artist at heart, I’m drawn to blending materials and techniques—letting the work become what it wants to be.
This is only the beginning. There is so much more I want to explore, and I’m allowing that journey to unfold naturally, one piece at a time.
